Welcome to the Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club. We operate an outdoor and indoor range and host clinics, and NRA, and CMP-sanctioned matches. You are not required to be a club member to participate in sanctioned match events at the indoor or outdoor range or our clinics.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a small creek between the road and the outdoor range. After heavy rains it can occasionally become impassable. Proceed with caution at all times, and click the button below to see the latest creek condition recorded.

On a safety note: 2 large still blots were found sticking straight up about 8 inches in the field. The mower guy saw them soon enough to miss them. This could have cost us a repair on the mower and maybe to have to find a new person to cut it. Anyone caught leaving anything out there after shooting will be brought before the board.

Reminder,
You MUST have your membership card with you when you are at the outdoor range. Any member can ask to see your membership card and show you theirs. The yardage for the steel targets is posted with the rules on the website and at the range. Anyon who fails to follow the rules, may be at a membership meeting to explain yourself.
Club Rules
The club rules are on the website, all members and guests are expected to follow the rules. One major safety rule we find ignored is the requirement for hearing and EYE protection. Eye protection is Not optional, it is required for all shooting.
POSTED 02/09/2024: Several volunteers spent the morning replacing the first five of the ten wooden frames used in the pits. These wooden frames are intended for use for the target inserts used in high power matches. There are inserts for recreational shooting stored in the storage area located in the target pit. Please attach your target to these inserts. DO NOT attach targets directly to these wooden frames or the number boards in front of the berm.
