DESCRIPTION:Date:  February 25\, 2023 \nWe will meet at 0900 to assemble the targets with first round planned down range at 0930.  Please bring correct change.  If you just plan to shoot the second match\, please be there by noon. \nSouthern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club’s outdoor range near Borden Indiana.  Website:  www.sirapc.com  \nIf you have never shot a CMP match and would like to try it out\, this is a great place to start.  They are fun and we have a lot of them scheduled this year.  We will have instructors and experienced shooters to help you get through the match.  We will also explain how to buy an M1 Garand from the CMP.  \nCost: $10 for members\, $15 for nonmembers.  Save $5 on your second match shot the same day.  \nCourse of fire will be a 35 round CMP-style practice match shot at 200 yards.  5 sighting shots in 5 minutes\, 10 rounds prone in 10 minutes single load\, 10 rounds rapid with a clip change in 80 seconds\, and 10 rounds offhand in 10 minutes single load.  We plan to use the electronic targets for this match.  Hearing and Eye Protection required on the line. \nWe have M1 Garands to loan new shooters only\, but they must buy our ammo.  It is $35 for 35 rounds to cover the match.  You must contact the person below before the match if you need to borrow a rifle.  \nAs issued means any of the CMP games rifles.  Examples: 1903\, 1903A3\, 1917\, any foreign military manual operated rifles.   We will also allow the U. S. DESCRIPTION:COMRADES’ CUP – MOSIN MATCH \nThis match will be for rifles with as-issued iron sights\, using surplus\, factory or reloaded ammunition. Targets shall be NRA SR-200. We will not be using the electronic targets for this match. Pit duty will be required. \nWhat rifles are allowed: The match is open to Mosin-Nagant rifles as well as other commonly-produced “ComBlock” bolt action rifles.
