Modern Military rifles of AR Heritage are allowed in separate class for the Garand/As Issued matches, excluding the State Championships.
We have M1 rifles to loan to first time shooters but you must buy our ammo.

CMP M1 Garand and High Power Rifle Clinic & Match
Indoor Clinic Saturday March 10th 9a-3p +/- Match Saturday March 17th 7:45a-1p +/-
Come learn about the M1 Garand, other Vintage and Modern Military Rifles at the next Clinic.
We will start in the classroom with a Power Point presentation that covers the different types of matches, the different types of rifles used, match procedures, scoring, pit duties, use of slings, shooting positions, equipment, where to shoot in our area, pictures of the National Matches at Camp Perry, and how to get rifles from the CMP. We will then split the class and half will shoot at the indoor .22 range while the other half learns how to field strip and care for the rifles, and more. Afterwards, the classes will rotate so that everyone gets the opportunity to shoot and gets the classroom training.
Preregistration is required.
$20 for the Clinic and Match
(Bring your own rifle and ammo for the match, if you have it)
We have M1’s to loan to first time shooters but you must buy our ammunition. $25/35 Rounds.
$45 All Inclusive. Clinic on March 10, Match on March 17, Rifle, and Ammo.
