We will meet at 0900 to assemble the targets with first round planned down range at 0930. Please bring correct change. If you just plan to shoot the second match, please be there by noon.

If you have never shot a CMP match and would like to try it out, this is a great place to start. They are fun and we have a lot of them scheduled this year. We will have instructors and experienced shooters to help you get through the match. We will also explain how to buy an M1 Garand from the CMP.
Cost: $10 for members, $15 for nonmembers. Save $5 on your second match shot the same day.
Course of fire will be a 35 round CMP-style practice match shot at 200 yards. 5 sighting shots in 5 minutes, 10 rounds prone in 10 minutes single load, 10 rounds rapid with a clip change in 80 seconds, and 10 rounds offhand in 10 minutes single load. We plan to use the electronic targets for this match. Hearing and Eye Protection required on the line.
We have M1 Garands to loan new shooters only, but they must buy our ammo. It is $35 for 35 rounds to cover the match. You must contact the person below before the match if you need to borrow a rifle.
As issued means any of the CMP games rifles. Examples: 1903, 1903A3, 1917, any foreign military manual operated rifles. We will also allow the U. S. Modern Military rifles AR 15 and M1A. See CMP games rules for detail. thecmp.org/competitions/cmp-competitions-rulebooks

If you are shooting just the second match, please be there no later than noon as we will start the match soon after the completion of the first match. We will use the electronic target system.
